Data we collect

Through the contact form, membership form, newsletter subscription, and donation processes, we may collect: name, surname, email address, telephone number, postal address, tax identification number (in the case of members or donors requesting a tax certificate), and bank or payment details.

Purpose of processing

To manage your request for information, membership, donation, or newsletter subscription; to send communications about the association’s activities when you have given your consent; and to comply with applicable accounting, tax, and legal obligations.

Legal basis

Consent of the data subject, performance of the relationship with the member or donor, and compliance with legal obligations.

Retention

We will retain your data for the duration of the relationship and subsequently for the legally required periods (generally, up to six years for accounting and tax purposes).

Recipients and data processors

We will not transfer your data to third parties unless necessary for the provision of the service or required by law. The processors and sub-processors that may handle data on our behalf are:

  • Stripe Payments Europe, Ltd. (Dublin, Ireland / Stripe Inc., USA) — processing of donation and membership payments. International transfer covered by EU Standard Contractual Clauses. Stripe Privacy Policy.
  • Web3Creative, operator of Web3Forms (India; international infrastructure) — receipt, validation, storage and forwarding of contact-form enquiries. The name, email address, optional telephone number, reason, language, message, privacy acceptance, source page and technical metadata are transmitted. Web3Forms sets a maximum physical retention period of three years, with visibility depending on the plan, and uses Standard Contractual Clauses for applicable international transfers.   • hCaptcha / Intuition Machines, Inc. (USA) — protects the form from spam and automated abuse. It may analyse technical data such as IP address, interaction time and device movements on the basis of the legitimate interest in protecting the service. hCaptcha Privacy Policy.
  • Google Ireland Limited / Google LLC — Google Forms, Google Sheets and Gmail to manage voluntary subscriptions and unsubscribes and to send individual puja notices; Google Calendar to display the activities calendar and Google Analytics 4 to measure visits, the latter two only if you allow their category in the cookie notice. Subscription data is kept in a private sheet and every message provides an unsubscribe route. Applicable international transfers are covered by EU Standard Contractual Clauses. Analytics and cookies

Google Analytics 4 and Google Calendar are controlled by separate purposes and remain blocked until you allow their category. You can accept, reject or withdraw each purpose from “Cookie settings” in the footer. Google Forms, Google Sheets and Gmail are used only when you voluntarily request a subscription, an unsubscribe or an operational communication, and do not depend on cookie consent. Rights

You may exercise your rights of access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction of processing, and portability at any time by writing to secretaria@dzongpaeuropa.org. You may also lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (www.aepd.es).
