Data we collect

Through the contact form, membership form, newsletter subscription, and donation processes, we may collect: name, surname, email address, telephone number, postal address, tax identification number (in the case of members or donors requesting a tax certificate), and bank or payment details.

Purpose of processing

To manage your request for information, membership, donation, or newsletter subscription; to send communications about the association’s activities when you have given your consent; and to comply with applicable accounting, tax, and legal obligations.

Legal basis

Consent of the data subject, performance of the relationship with the member or donor, and compliance with legal obligations.

Retention

We will retain your data for the duration of the relationship and subsequently for the legally required periods (generally, up to six years for accounting and tax purposes).

Recipients and data processors

We will not transfer your data to third parties unless necessary for the provision of the service or required by law. The processors and sub-processors that may handle data on our behalf are:

  • Stripe Payments Europe, Ltd. (Dublin, Ireland / Stripe Inc., USA) — processing of donation and membership payments. International transfer covered by EU Standard Contractual Clauses. Stripe Privacy Policy.
  • Web3Forms (USA) — submission and receipt of the contact form. Data entered (name, email, message) is transmitted via their API and forwarded to the association’s email. Web3Forms Privacy Policy.
  • MailerLite UAB (Vilnius, Lithuania / MailerLite Inc., USA) — newsletter management. Your email address will only be processed if you voluntarily subscribe. International transfer covered by EU Standard Contractual Clauses. MailerLite Privacy Policy.
  • Google LLC (USA) — embedded activities calendar (Google Calendar) and visit measurement (Google Analytics 4), only if you accept the use of cookies in the cookie notice. International transfer covered by EU Standard Contractual Clauses. Google Privacy Policy.

Analytics and cookies

The website uses Google Analytics 4 to measure visits, Google Calendar to display the activities calendar, and MailerLite for the newsletter. All three services are only loaded when you accept cookies in the cookie notice. If you decline, none of these services are activated. You can change your choice from the “Cookies” link in the footer. We do not use analytics for personalised advertising.

Rights

You may exercise your rights of access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction of processing, and portability at any time by writing to secretaria@dzongpaeuropa.org. You may also lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (www.aepd.es).
